WHO ARE WE

Thar Education Alliance draws together politicians, relevant education-based local organizations, district government departments, local media, and the community at large to build a conversation around quality education and its access. We have identified issues like the lack of schools in the region, extremely low girl student enrolment, and poor learning outcome - especially in science and math, and low utilization of education budget. TEA aims to create a reality of gender equality, one where more women are entering the education system one where women are earning more qualifications one where women are participating equally in decision making and one where women are acquiring leadership roles by building more schools, training more teachers, and improving coordination among relevant departments, elected representatives, donors, civil society organizations and communities (including parents).

Vision

We aim to develop a community where every last person is educated

MISSION

We aim to make education as a top priority for underprivileged areas of Sindh. We are striving to reduce educational issue to Sindh just like the lack of schools in the region, extremely low girl student enrolment, and poor learning outcome - especially in science and math, and low utilization of education budget. We work with politicians, education officials, teachers, parents and communities, and civil society organizations to make sure children are enrolled in school, stay in school and receive a good quality education.
